SUMMARY:Keynote: Hassan Fawaz (Univity) - From Vision to Validation
DESCRIPTION:From Vision to Validation\, Univity's 5G NTN Journey.\n\nThis
keynote will introduce Univity's vision for 5G Non-Terrestrial Networks
and present some of the key building blocks developed to turn that visi
on into a validated system. Through uniSpark\, uniShape and the company'
s digital-twin environment\, the presentation will highlight how archite
cture\, emulation and end-to-end testing are used to progressively desig
 n\, integrate and de-risk satellite-based 5G connectivity.

SUMMARY:Keynote: Francois Baccelli (Inria\, Telecom Paris\, LINCS)
DESCRIPTION:Research on Non-Terrestrial Networks: Design Tools\, Regulati
on\, and Cooperation.\n\nThis talk presents a research and innovation pr
ogramme on non-terrestrial networks (NTN) built on three complementary c
omponents. The first is a set of advanced analytical tools for the desig
n of efficient\, high-performance NTN: recent theoretical results that c
haracterize and predict the statistics of spectral efficiency in large-s
cale deployments\, and that support the design of constellation architec
tures\, routing strategies and critical performance metrics such as late
ncy as a function of the constellation parameters and architecture. Ongo
ing work extends these methods to terrestrial/non-terrestrial integratio
n\, to sensing capabilities\, to reconfigurable intelligent surfaces. Th
e second component is interdisciplinary and regulatory: following the 20
24 report of the Academie des sciences on large satellite constellations
\, NTN were selected as one of the three scientific priorities of the S7
process for the 2026 G7 summit\, and the resulting joint statement of t
he G7 academies calls for an international\, science-based regulatory fr
amework ensuring the sustainable use of low Earth orbit. The third compo
nent is industrial and international cooperation\, with partners such as
Univity\, Greenerwave and ONERA\, and with universities in South Korea.
